How We Plan
Visiting our potential clients enables us to better understand the project and give advice from both a planning and construction view point.
The Process
Visit the projectA discussion on site about the project along with timescales, requirements and the reasons for them, assists in our aim achieve the best solution for the client.
Estimated costsAfter this stage we will offer fixed fees for our services and advise on budget figures for building costs should they be required.
Finalise the initial stepsOnce appointed we will visit again to undertake a measured survey within 7-10 days. This timescale can be shorter or longer depending on your availability. Shortly after that we would normally return to show you drawings and suggestions to finalise the design prior to submission of the formal application.
Build regulation drawingsOnce planning has been granted we will progress to the building regulation drawings. These are the plans which provide the detail about how the proposal will be built. Throughout the build process we are available for consultation should problems arise.

Ready to start your home extension plans?
We serve Northamptonshire and most of Bedfordshire and make no charge for the initial site visit and consultation. We will still visit projects from further away but request a small fee in advance to cover additional expenses.
